I know that the emmc does read much faster, but I am looking for dependable first.
Cool! I have the factory Manjaro Plasma on the eMMC without Tow-Boot on the SPI and Arch/Phosh on a microSD card as well. Last time I checked suspend didn't work. I'll have to give it a try again soon.

I just noticed this Thread has Both Pine phone and PPPro mentioned in it.

Arch was the only PPPro OS that recovered from suspend for me "Out of the Box" .

On my original convergent Pine phone Mobian recovers quickly from suspend.
while Mobian freezes on my PPPro -- every time it goes into suspend.

All of my tests are running from the sd cards

The problem occurs when you use certain SD cards, even if your system is installed on the eMMC and not on the SD card itself.
Apparently it affects cards that support "Power Off Notification" (see gitlab).
In my case a Sandisk Extreme 128 and a Sandisk Ultra 64 have the suspend problem whereas a Samsung Evo Plus 64 works fine.
