Out of stock - auggiefrog - 12-09-2021

I’ve noticed a lot of products are out of stock, is there a update or anyway to learn when they will be in stock again?

Wish their was better communication on this, I personally have been waiting for the pinebook for about 6 months now. I’m beginning to assume it may be discontinued.
Any information is appreciated.

Hard to estimate though, I heard that there's a "global" chip and/or supply shortage going on in some countries, which is just individual governments actively preventing supplies from being restocked anyway, and none of us have a glass bowl.

I guess you must not read/follow the blog?  They have been talking about global supply chain issues for like a year now.

They even created that new availability page, which Ryo linked above.

Thank you! I guess if the item isn’t on the list, there’s no way of knowing. I appreciate the link

One thing that did affect Pinebook Pros, is that the specific size and resolution of the LCDs jumped in price, a lot.
Pine64 took the approach to wait a bit and see if the price dropped. And of course, see if another source could be found.
I think this put in a few months delay earlier this year. Don't think that particular issue is a problem now.
