WIFI/BT Power Supply / VBAT-EXT - xalius - 06-15-2016

I was just browsing the schematics for the Pine from the Wiki. On page 15 of the schematic where the connections for the WIFI/BT module are made, there is a direct connection between VCC-WIFI (the module supply) and VBAT-EXT (the external battery voltage after the current sensing shunt). What is the reason for that, couldn't that cause trouble in some setups?

Hi, did you get any insight to this?

I got one of the last shipped Pine64 books... I started playing with Android Boxes and it may have overheated something....
So at the time of receiving it appeared PINE+F10 powered off BT and PINE+F11 powered off Wifi, looking at the Wiki I concluded that was wrong.
As time progressed it seemed nothing powered off BT as every time I start the PineBook it gives me BT on regardless of the previous blink count.
Wifi on the other hand did power off... And has now settled on a powered on Mode that allows it to see all the local wifi networks but on attempting to connect gives the error "Wireless Interface (wlan0) : The device could not be configured"(The powered off mode still works.).
This is the point I regret not installing enough admin/dev packages into Manjaro for "sudo lspci" to output something....
I'll keep you guys updated on this problem.

update ...
It seems the settings for all the wifi networks were incorrect somehow... routers did not change passwords?
I'm thinking maybe the encrypt key for the network passwords got changed somehow... Anyways...
If anyone runs into that error just delete all your existing WiFi configurations and re-connect to each one, typing in the password again.
As for BT still stuck on... I'm not to worried about it, just think it might be related to the way the WIFI/BT is all connected up...
