Because we are deploying a serious number of RockPro64 boards in industrial facilities, having them return to normal operation after power loss is crucial. We have therefore designed and produced a custom watchdog with an onboard thermal sensor, which can watch the environment temperature and reset the board in case it locks up.

This is all very clever and interesting, but I understand that the RockPro64 has a built-in hardware watchdog timer (possibly more than one). Can I ask why you didn't make use of this for at least part of your requirement (accepting that it wouldn't help with environmental thermal monitoring)?
