No Sound on Default Manjaro KDE - carlosqueso - 03-30-2021

So, I have no sound on Manjaro KDE through either the speakers or the regular headphone jack.  I think this happened after an update, and I don't think I've changed anything, but I don't use sound terribly frequently, so I may have done something.  This is what I've found out so far: I asked over in the Manjaro forum, but it appears they're stumped.  Anybody here have any troubleshooting ideas?

What I usually do when my audio settings go wrong is I copy the default alsa config from the post-install package...

https://gitlab.manjaro.org/manjaro-arm/packages/community/pinebookpro-post-install/-/raw/master/asound.state

the file lives in /var/lib/alsa and contains the current config, so if you overwrite it there, you get the defaults again

Thanks for the troubleshooting idea, but sadly, I did what you suggested and it still didn't work.  Are you able to get sound on the latest Manjaro KDE?

My old install and a new image booted from sdcard work fine so far
