Cheap way to secure back - elastic band?! - andystratton - 01-18-2021

Hello Everyone
Here's a couple of pictures of how a strong elastic band can hold the back in place on your wrist - and when you put the watch on charge, you can slip the band round the charger (not shown) - though the back tends to remain the charger when you take the watch off charge.

  Hope this helps - Andy

Thanks, a rubber band is a good idea!

What I would really like is to have the back be attached with screws. Is this an option for the future?

There is this 3d print that works : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4651462
I've tested it, it works well and is certainly easier to put/take off than an elastic band I think.
It's certainly improvable, maybe to hold the back a bit tighter for example.

I'm using a black elastic band right now but this 3D printed cover sounds good. I keep looking for an excuse to buy one but still haven't pulled the trigger. It might just happen soon if I can find a fairly affordable, fairly flexible printer that can print decent sized stuff.

I've used blu-tack as a (relatively) easily removable glue.
