Err, perhaps you know, or perhaps not,,, every compressed file, zip, gz, xz whatever
is pretty much --self-checking--,, that is, if any bits flip, any at all, it will error out
Or, xz -t somefile.xz
You may know, the rk3399 will use whatever uboot it finds FIRST, likely whatever is on emmc
What is on your emmc?

I can only say that the sha of the two files I downloaded were not the same. Hell, even the file size was not the same. They both copied to SD fine. One didn't boot, the other did. Perhaps an issue with the tool or a wrong link. Might have been an old cache in an sf.net mirror. I don't remember at the moment. It was a a week or two ago.

Initially the Debian shipped with the device. Then flashed over with the Manjaro image.

I might be getting confused with another sbc, but I thought first selection was based on a jumper. (Might be thinking about my ci20 though.)
