Pinebook 14" smashed screen. - frank-zappa - 10-15-2020 I went to turn on my Pinebook today and found the screen had been damaged. Is it worth replacing? How easy is it to install a new screen assembly? I know they are for sale in the store. Has anyone ever successfully fitted a new screen assembly? Unscrew !0 screws on back cover, take about less than 3 minutes Open back cover Unscrew 3 screws at each side of LCD hinge, takes about less than 3 minutes Replace new LCD panel, and reverse the above process.
