DisplayLink - rrowles2000 - 07-23-2020

Has anyone had any luck using usb3 displaylink on the RockPro64? I need to connect two 4k monitors if there are any other suggestions. Tia.

Please check with Displaylink, Seems like no ARM64 driver release. Even there is ARM64 driver, the performance can be suffer due to Displaylink driver will hog CPU resource.

I use Displaylink to drive multiple monitors on an Intel i5 processor in Windows 10 and it gets pretty CPU hungry at times. It shows up as "Windows Driver Foundation".

Wouldn't surprise me if there would be worse issues here, though it would be nice to see well-written drivers improve this if possible.
